The Thieves one Korean -themed movie about a heist . The film begins with an art theft in Soul Galerry , continue with the main game casino complex in Macau and culminated with the chase scene rappelling on the side of an apartment building rot Busan , Thief has a series of impressive - and genuine - sequence . Add to that the show is really fun to established genre , but not at all derivative. However, the first comment would make the most reviewers describe this film is that it is South Korea 's Ocean 11 . While the award for Stephen Soderbergh's talent for branding ( which also failed to take into account the way in 1960 Lewis Milestone version of Ocean 's 11, which has one of the best finales ever theft ) was also very dismissive style and adventurous film .
